Application of ultrasonic cleaning process in electroplating industry
Using ultrasonic waves that produce cavitation effect in the liquid, oil can be removed from the surface of the workpiece, and with appropriate cleaning agents, the surface of the workpiece can quickly reach a high degree of cleanliness. In the electroplating process, the surface cleanliness of the workpiece is required to be high, and ultrasonic cleaning technology is an ideal technology to meet the requirements. The use of ultrasonic cleaning technology can replace solvent cleaning oil; can replace electrolytic oil removal; can replace acid etching to remove surface rusted carbon steel and low alloy steel and scale. The application of ultrasonic cleaning technology can simplify many traditional cleaning processes and greatly improve cleaning quality and production efficiency. In particular, there are more advantages for workpiece edges with more complex shapes and higher requirements. 1. Cleaning of the polishing surface of the polishing paste.
Under normal circumstances, polishing pastes are often mixed with paraffin wax, paraffin wax molecular weight, high melting point, normal temperature is solid, more difficult to clean materials, the traditional method is to use organic solvent cleaning or high temperature alkali cooking, there are many drawbacks. The use of ultrasonic cleaning can use water-based cleaning agents, in the case of medium temperature, will thoroughly clean the surface within a few minutes, the commonly used process is: (1) soaking, (2) ultrasonic cleaning - (water) (3) Water rinse.
2. Oil on the surface and a small amount of rusted cold-rolled steel.
Generally, there are oil stains, dust or a small amount of rust on the surface of cold-rolled steel plates, which is easy to clean, but in general methods to clean the surface is still a very thin layer of floating ash, which affects the quality of subsequent processing, and sometimes the acid leaching method may not be used. Remove this layer of ash. And with the use of appropriate ultrasonic cleaning and cleaning fluids, it is easy to achieve a thorough cleaning of the surface, so that the workpiece surface has a high activity, and sometimes even deactivates the pickling activation process before electroplating.
3. Workpieces with oxide scale and stripe rust on the surface.
The traditional method is to soak and clean with hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. If the ultrasonic comprehensive treatment technology is used, it can quickly remove the oil and rust surface of the workpiece in a few minutes, and avoid cleaning and hydrogen embrittlement due to strong acid.
